Company Event with Ericsson

Today went for a company event organized by Ericsson over at Yishun Safra... I was not suppose to go but Angeline Wong approached me to take over her place.. And Choon Kiat is taking over Sylvia's position.. It was a bowling competition between the mixture combination of 4-5 per team from SingTel and Ericsson...

We reached there at about 3:30pm and waited for quite sometime for the event to start... my team consist of 3 from SingTel (Max, Falisha & Me) and 2 from Ericsson (Derrick & Malay Guy).. luckily i know Max and Falisha.. but not for Choon Kiat... haha.. he totally dunno anyone.. but his team got a girl name as Kimberly... believe that she helped on *SEND service... not a bad girl lor...

And then suddenly... they switched off the lights.. and everything turned illuminous... which they set-up the ultraviolet ray and makes everything glow-in-the-dark... CHIO!~

It has been quite some time since I last touch the bowling ball.... so I didnt really bowl well in the first 2 rounds until the last round... i think i managed to take 3 strikes and a few spares... using a 13 pound ball instead of the first 2 rounds using a 8 pound ball..

I also take a quick snap at my shoes... haha.. PUMA with a different shoe laces pattern... ^_^

And one last thingy... the glow-in-the-dark event.. only activate during company event... normal bowling days will not activate de... hehe...

Trip to Johor

It was one of the nicest weekend I had last week... had a tiring yet fun weekend with my friends in SingTel on last Saturday and also a good gathering with my Sec sch buddies on Sunday...

Together with Xiao Mei, Zhutou, Schnappi, Mimo, XiaoXia, SiJia, Alex (SiJia's Hubby), Peiching, Vincent and Chai Hwee.. we planned to have a trip down to Johor for a nice outing and then a seafood dinner at 大马花园... Initially there were many other different plans like prawn fishing... shopping.. etc... and all of us agreed to gather at Kranji MRT to take a bus down to the causeway checkpoint..

So in the morning, I went down to tampines to meet XiaoMei to take bus.. i think is 969 bah... down to Yishun MRT... she asked vincent and know that it is a faster way from east to north... even faster than taking train... however.. i miscalculated the timing and the bus driver drove like F1.. (he must have gone to watch F1 race in Sep this year)... fast till only takes 15 mins to reach tamp... so I reached tamp at 8:30am instead of 9am... so I went to had a light breakfast myself before coming out to meet XiaoMei...

Finally she reached... fully exhausted and straight away fall asleep when we sat down... after that then realise that she went clubbing last night and only slept for a few hours... so i didnt bother her too much.. but can know that she wasnt really quite comfortable with such a tight seats... but she still slpt the whole trip... for me... as usual lor.. although tired but i kept myself awake so that we both will not miss the stops and late for the gathering...

And so.. our journey starts....

We boarded the bus 170 right outside the MRT station... all of us managed to get a seats and we head towards the checkpoints... Over at the checkpoint, that was my first time seeing such an "advance" queue... it was at the most left corner of the entry... just scan the passport and imprint the fingerprints... then we can cross the Singapore checkpoints!~ lolx.. that was super fast...

Then we went down to the bus stops... and while waiting for the bus to come again... Abi suggested to take one of her artistic pictures:

And indeed the result came out quite excellent... however.. we didnt manage to board the bus.. and we all agreed to walk over the bridge to the Malaysia checkpoint... we walked for about 10-20 mins and we reached one of our most agonising part of our journey...

It was damn crowded and there was not much vandilation or any order of the queue inside the checkpoint... wao lao.. many ppl tried to squeeze through us and cut our queue... and our dear Zhutou, who is an typical Aries... could not stand it and keep on complaining and complaining... hehe.. after 1 hour of suffering.. all of us went thru the custom with a very sticky body...

Once we passby the custom... we followed peiching and vincent along the street and met up with Chai Hwee... who had already cross the border with so much ease (he's a malaysian).. no wonder lah... hahah... and we settled our lunch over at a roasted store:


After the lunch... we separated into 3 different cabs (RM18 each) to go to the newly opened Jusco, which is one of the largest shopping complex in Johor... since we did not planned to do any shopping there... there is left only movie-ing or kbox-ing in Jusco.. and we struggled alot if we should watch movie or sing kbox... and as usual.. we took photos again...

In the end.. we chosen the kbox as the movie quite hard to choose coz we dont have any movie that we can watch together... see how big is the 11 person KTV room.. and there is a toilet inside the room!~ Even best is the price is only RM30++ for each person... but we requested Chai Hwee to apply for their membership as they served members only... super ridiculous lor... force ppl to sign for their membership...

Our KTV session ended at about 7pm.. at that point of time.. my throat already sore le lor... 2nd KTV session of the week... haha.. then mimo say she wanted to buy some "special" sweets" and zhutou went to shop for her sport shoes... when on the way to the supermart.... xiaomei say she smell her fav food.. which is the 茶叶蛋.. and i tried to smell.. and really got wor.. so i followed her to checkout which store selling it... and finally I saw that shop straight ahead of us selling.. and she was quite happy to be able to eat it... I also bought one for myself.. and it has been a very long time since i last eat the 茶叶蛋 already...

After mimo and zhutou done with their shopping... although none of them managed to buy what they want... (-_-) we went out to catch another 3 cabs down to our last destination... 大马花园

I think we ordered quite alot of seafoods... got 麦片crayfish... stingray... chilli sotong... chilli crabs.. kang kong... garlic xiao mai... it was a sumptous seafood dinner!~ At this point of time.. our dear xiao mei looked super damn shag already... not enough sleep plus out for one whole day le... only got one words to discribe her... "Cui" liao... =X

And we came back to Singapore at about 10-11 plus already... i also "cui" already.. so me.. xiaomei.. zhutou and schnappi walked out to take a cab instead... and yah!~ I dropped my ATM card in the cab... luckily schnappi saw it and pass it to Xiaomei... ^_^ lucky me!~

Tearings are tiring

It was a very very sad night for me... I was tearing and tearing... one after another... and that makes me damn tired now =...((((

轉角*遇到愛

It was a story about one lovely couple, a borned rich Princess with a poor "oyster pancake" cook, but with a great dream of being a artiste... their stories begin when the Princess went to look for him to teach him how to cook taiwan's snack which is the "oyster pancake" and slowly.. due to great deal of coincidence.. they met up and fall in love together...

Initially I didnt teared much.. I'm so touched with their romantic-ness and almost tearing already.. but both of them always end up quarrelling and shouting at one another... slowly.. they both enjoyed it so much and it happened almost everytime...

Qin Lang was the guy and because of his lack of confident... he protected his pride by going against Xin Lei... and Xin Lei being a spoiled princess... she never give in to Qin Lang... and their stories slowly built up..

Until one day, when Xin Lei had to leave due to untold reasons... that was the part that i'm watching tonight... it was damn damn sad lor... i teared and teared and teared...

Zzzz.. Looking at the time so late already.. i decided to stop for the night.. hopefully things will get better between both of them...

TopOne KTV Session

Sited along North Bridge Rd, which is opposite of Bugis Junction, there is one ktv lounge called TopOne. It was a singing place that, what I heard, has 4 different themes for different level...

It was on 19 Nov 08 (Wed) evening, Me and Zhutou met up with CalCal and Whokie for a karaoke session over at TopOne. Both of them was our Fiesta gaming friends whom always party up together to hunt in the past. But I had stopped the game ever since I started my studies... which I promised myself no gamings anymore until I complete my studies... Coz if I start any new games now.. I'll may be out of control and neglected my studies...

So on that night... it was my first time visiting this TopOne, but however wasnt my first time hearing this karaoake place.. think got once is from XiaoXia... the price over there was slightly cheaper than KBox and the songs were recently updated... it might somehow be my favourite spot in the future... ^_^

If i'm not wrong, that night the theme that we entered should be belongs to CHINA... lolx.. or Chinese... not quite sure lah.. see the picture will know already...

Dinner with Bee Khim

It was since after i graduate from my secondary school life, I dont recall ever meeting her up since then. And finally got the chance to see her again after so long... and she was my very first "puppy" love I had during sec sch... lolx.. those times were fun... but it was nv meant to be a lasting one...

It was the tuesday night when i met up with her and went to Heeren Jack's place for a nice "steaky" dinner... During the dinner.. we chat alot and alot about our current lifes and how has it been going.... and even mentioned some of our past...

However, sad to say.... my first comment about her was: "What have you done to your hair!~" lolx.. i'm used to her long pony-tailed hair that she had during secondary school.. and I was quite stunned and almost cant recognise her....

Our plan was to shop around and get some idea for Qi's present for his bday that was coming up on Sunday.. At the end of the window shopping.. we managed to thought of four ideas for Qi's present but I'm not sure if I should share the present with them... so I suggested that we keep the idea first and I had to check with the rest of the brothers to see if they are keen to share for a present...

On our trip back home, we talked about her older sister, Bee Kiat, whom I knew slightly about this girl during Polytechnics period... Bee khim told me quite alot about her sister.. that her sister had changed quite alot after she got to know her current fiance... and neglecting the family.

Love indeed can change a person... but however in her case... it wasnt that fortunate...

Sickly Weekend

Haiz.. here goes my weekend again... fall sick since thursday and yesterday was the worst. I was feeling so horrible yesterday sia..

it's all started on thursday when i started to feel slight headache at about 4-5pm... thought it wasnt anything.. so i didnt really bother... then on friday itself.. the headache comes again but this time with symptoms of flu... and as usual... the nose fluids will make my throat sore...

And so it goes... On saturday.. I woke up with sore throat... stuck nose and aching body... =((( damn shag.. and the worst is.. my 2 stupid bro... i already told them i'm sick already... then they say they would go get lunch... Zzzz.. and it was already 2pm in the afternoon and i'm still waiting lor... and they happily discuss about the WOW game in the room... so i get so pekchek.. i changed the clothes and buy by myself... no point waiting when both haven even change yet...

haiz... tot everything was over... but suddenly receive a call from mummy at about 5pm... she wanted someone to help her buy 4d... then i recorded it and ask my elder bro to go and buy.... he's not very happy abt it... but knowing that i'm sick.. he agreed... but in the end.. he drag and drag and drag till 5:30pm still no intention to buy.. and the counter closing at 6pm... so i get i so angry and i change again and go buy myself... haiz...

I'm sick... and I cant rest well at home... haiz.. what to do.. suffer like that lor... =(((

Our "Arts" Under Examination Stress

Lolx.. while i was packing the table, I saw this tissue paper lying on the table... haha.. it was an art between me... zhutou's and mimo's.. i remember that night xiaoxia specially bought us some coffee for us to tahan the torturious night of studying... It was the coffee from "the coffee connoisseur" (tcc) at Changi Airport...

Project X on Window Movie Maker

^_^ this time i clever liao.. try to upload the video before writing the blogs... hahah...

Now i'm able to upload the newer version of Project X that is edited using "Window Movie Maker". It is much easier than the stupid Wax 2.0 program lor.. It was my colleague Kelvin Chua who told me that Window Movie Maker is easier as he make use of it to do his weddings video de.. and actually his work looks quite professional... so last night i tried and see.. i only 2-3 hours finish up a 54 secs.. way better than the Wax2.0 which i used 2 days for less than 20 secs videos... (^_^)

Anyway, enjoy the 54 secs video... and i believe it will be completed soon... Anyway I need a convertor to convert DVD videos into normal .mpg or .avi. If anyone got it.. can help me up on this? haha... nothing to offer in return but your name will display in the credits.. ^_^

Slight progress on Project X

Haha... finally input a song by Jason Mraz - I'm Yours into the clips.. ^_^ so now then i know they only recognise .wav version of music format... so i make use of a convertor to convert the music into .wav format... anyway... I will still need to take a wedding songs album from xinyi... but cannot let her know that i'm working on the project for her... hmm... thinking to ask xiaofang for help.. but she's isnt only all the while.... think better sms her now...

Katong Laksa!~

Today went to eat Katong laksa with zhutou for lunch... hehe... tempted to eat since before exam.. and finally got the chance to eat now... ^_^ yummy yum.. and i ordered additional otah to add on to the laksa..

A small promise.. one huge effort

Phew... that was tired!!~ and I only manage to complete a 26 secs clips on Xinyi's ROM night... this is my first try on video editing.. i got the inspire from my nsmen during my course of duty in 3rd DISCOM... that Bobby is a professional.. unlike me lor... hehe... kinda feel like i'm not creative enough to do video editing... but then.. maybe i'll try see how bah... hehe.. ^_^

Subway Membership Card

Haha... I registered for the membership like... erm... 3 weeks ago... and till now then it comes... ^_^ finally i'm officially a member of subway!~ haha... my fav lunch and also my fav double chocolates cookies~ 3 for $2.90 wor... haha... but cannot eat too much.. too heaty le.. so i will order one white chips.. one double chocs and one normal choc cookies to eat... like that can finish 3 of them during tea break time... ^_^

With this card.. i can enjoy a 10% discount.. ^_^ kinda little but in long-term wise... hhaha.. stingy B~

Exam Finally Over

Finally 2 weeks or maybe 4 weeks of suffering are over at the moment my last paper was collected by the invigilator today at 1:15pm!!! haha... I was so glad that i have tahan until today... actually i almost collapsed on yesterday night... memorized liao but still forget... memorize again and still forget... i was like wa liao... what is it with me now?

^_^ yeah.. but good things that everything is over... and exam result will only be out on 5th Dec... that is like.. erm.. 1 months later... so within this month... must really enjoy my life!!~ haha... got quite alot of things to do right now... but need to have carefully planning.. ^_^

Cousin Wedding Night

Today I attended one of my cousin wedding dinner at ******... it was kinda tiring.. coz recently rushing to study my exam coming up next week... quite alot "unknown" aunts and uncles appear in the wedding... lolx.. so father introduced one after another... although i nv able to remember their names...

The welcome gifts included a card (or a bookmark) and a very nice shot glass.. ^_^ so my house total got 5 shot glass... next time come my house chaos... can drink Vodka Shots with it... haha...

The Horror Halloween Night

I didnt know it is Halloween today until i had lunch with my colleagues this afternoon... lousy me sia.. lolx.. and also until today then i know that so many of them have planned to travel overseas this year end holidays... =((( and i'm actually admired them... coz i cant travel overseas until all my other bros are richer abit... but still wish them to have a good trip bah...

Anyway.. since today is Halloween.. i decided to give myself a break today... and actually wanted to jio Xiaomei to go cheesecake cafe.. but then she suggested for a horror movie... the first show she recommended was "The Coffin"... however, after searching thru the movie reviews... we decided to watch "REC" which suppose to have a better plot than "The Coffin"...

Lolx... as most of my friends know... i'm not the kind of ppl who can watch horror movie... so does she!!! haha.. i almost wanted to run out of cinema in the middle de... but then got some fighting part... Xiaomei actually laughed instead... lolx.. that's somehow smoothen my fear... although it's kinda wierd.. but then she laughed.... (O.o)

The most scarier part that I remembered was at the very last part... where the cameraman lifted up his camera into the hole thru the ceiling... that poor girl who is the origin of the virus suddenly appeared while the camera is rotating... lolx.. got the shock of my life.. and i actually screamed!~

haiz... xiaomei laughed at me abt this lor.. but she dun deny that she screamed as well... haha... the worst things were the after effect... both of us couldnt overcome from the fear.. and we still have to search the B2 carpark for that idiot car... lolx.. it was just both of us there lor.. luckily my mind was thinking where the hell is my car.. but xiaomei still thinking abt the scene.. and once she saw my car.. she quickly jumped into the car and close the door... while i'm taking my own sweet time to get into the car... haha.. she after that told me that she wanted to shout at me lor.. why i take so long to get into the car... =)))

Suppose to send her home straight after the movie... but when I reached her block... i realised that both of us havent cool down from the movie... so i suggested to go somewhere crowded and cool ourselves down before going home... and there we are at Bedok blk85 market... there wasnt any crowd.. but still quite alot ppl... and we ordered a cup of sugar cane each...

So coincidently... I saw a cleaner auntie... she actually so skinny that she looks like the "origin" poor girl in that movie!!! wao lao eh... in the end i panicked... so scared that the cleaner will suddenly appear behind me and say wan to clean the table... I confirm will scream de lor!~

Haha.. so Xiaomei and I both watchout for each other.. to warn each other if the cleaner is appearing behind any of us.... lolx... and i think i took an hour to actually cool myself down... but xiaomei wasn't fully cooled down... so i say i'll bring her up to her unit later when i send her home...

It was a great night.. and I'll somba that i'll nv watch any horror movie anymore... what a Halloween Night!~
